Michael Nordine M.D.

Clinical Scientist and Anaesthesiologist

Michael is a Medical Doctor and accomplished Medical Researcher, bringing a wealth of expertise to our team.

“Learning how to analyze large datasets, as well as working with a multidisciplinary team that can program AI/ML algorithms, provides the opportunity to create “smart precision-based algorithms” that can optimize patient outcomes and develop translatable software.

Michael graduated from medical school from the Charité Medical University in 2017 and completed his doctoral thesis at the Center for Space Medicine and Extreme Environments at the Charité. He then worked as an anesthesiologist at the Charité-Campus Benjamin Franklin as well as performing mono-and multi centre clinical studies. Additionally, taking part in the Berlin Institute of Health Digital Health Accelerator program to develop a non-invasive cerebral perfusion device. As well as co-designing projects aimed at developing novel non-invasive bio-signal analysis for anesthesiology and critical care.

Michael’s diverse areas of specialisation include Artificial Gravity, Clinical Anesthesiology, Human Physiology, Non-invasive Physiological Monitoring, and Time Series-based Human Physiological Data Analysis.

His research interests include Human Physiology in extreme environments, from Micro and Hyper-Gravity to Immersion, Surgery, and Clinical settings.
